My goal is to help my friends have a voice.

We are smart!  Good men and women capable of communication. We are about to shock the world.  When I was two years old I was diagnosed with autism. I never learned to speak. I saved myself from an exceptionally isolated life of silence when I learned to write and spell using my device and laptop, My mom has been my communication partner. I am making this blog to raise awareness in the autism community and the entire world about the abilities of nonverbal autistics and the need to make spelling a very important and essential aspect of basic education of nonverbal autistics. We are all challenged by motor planning, but we are cognitively capable of learning to communicate by spelling. So challenging is motor planning that we have difficulty controlling our body and behavior. It makes it very hard to have healthy relationships with friends and family.  Being nonverbal sadly causes people to assume we are feeble minded basic caves of divine emptiness.  Learning to communicate changed my life. Just try your hardest to believe in your nonspeaking person’s ability and try to spell with them!
